Story

Hi everyone

This year Steve and I are running the Bridge to Brisbane. We thought it was a great opportunity to pair something we love (running) with doing some good. 

Bridge to Brisbane supports a huge range of charities and organizations. We chose to run for the Brain Foundation because they fund Australian research into a range of diseases and disorders effecting the brain. 

We have each seen the impact of brain injuries and illness on people we love. We are excited to be running and training for a cause bigger than just a time goal or a PB. 
 
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to the Brain Foundation.

Brain Foundation

The Brain Foundation is a national registered charity dedicated to funding world-class research Australia wide into neurological disorders, brain disease and brain injuries.  

Established in 1970 by neurologists and neurosurgeons, the Brain Foundation funds ground breaking research projects that aim to advance diagnoses, treatment and patient outcomes.  The Brain Foundation annually provides research grants nation-wide to candidates who are selected by eminent neurological practitioners.

Receiving no government funding, the Brain Foundation relies on the generosity of individuals, corporate donors and bequests.
