Story
I’m doing the Bridge to Brisbane 2025 – and I need your help!
For the past four years, I’ve been lucky enough to attend weekly yoga at the incredible Choices Cancer Support Centre at the Wesley Hospital. That yoga kept me grounded – physically and emotionally – through active cancer treatment, through to today.
Choices, more than any other individucal or institution, got me through cancer with a positive perspective and feeling well supported.
I gained so much... knowledge, strength, calm, and connection. I joined seminars, alternative therapies, guided gym sessions with EP's, art therapy, amazing advice and more. Choices allowed me to feel like I was being proactive with my health rather than a passive victim.
Most importantly, I met wonderful people – some I now call lifelong friends. Some have since passed away – a heartbreaking reality – and each week new faces arrive, seeking the same comfort, knowledge and care I once did.
Choices is free for anyone affected by ANY cancer.
So this year, I’m walking the Bridge to Brisbane with Beaux, Louis, Remy, Mum and a bunch of my gorgeous Choices friends to raise funds for this amazing place – and I’d be so grateful for your support.
Every dollar makes a difference. Your donation will go directly to Choices Cancer Support Centre, helping them continue their free services for those navigating cancer.

The funds you raise or donate can bring relief to a person living with cancer through practical support, counselling and expert advice. You can give someone their confidence back with wig services during chemotherapy or provide access to exercise and wellness programs through their treatment and recovery.
