Hey everyone
This year I am participating in Bridge to Brisbane and running for a cause that is close to my heart and who are doing some amazing work, Bush Heritage Australia.
Bush Heritage Australia is an independent not-for-profit that works to protect and restore Australia's magnificent landscapes and native species. Every donation helps safeguard precious ecosystems - from outback deserts to ancient rainforests - and ensures our unique wildlife can thrive. By partnering with Traditional Owners, they help conserve millions of hectares of ecologically important land across Australia, and rehabilitate damaged land from devastating natural disasters. Protecting our natural land and animal habitats is more important than ever - it supports threatened species, helps combat the impacts of climate change, protects against current issues such as mass land clearing and invasive species, as well as providing vital relief through reforestation efforts.

Protecting Australia's plants, animals and landscapes.
Bush Heritage is a national conservation charity which protects Australia's native wildlife through a simple formula - we buy or acquire land of outstanding conservation value, and then care for it. Our reserves are managed in a similar way to national parks; the land is legally protected, with the intention of safeguarding it forever.
Today, over 34% of all Australia's mammals, as well as 55% of its birds - including many rare and threatened species - are protected on Bush Heritage's reserves and partnership properties, which safeguard millions of hectares of ecologically important land nationwide.
