This year I am participating in Bridge to Brisbane and fundraising for Suicide Prevention Australia.
Why This is Important to Me
In 2020, I struggled with severe suicidal ideation related to complex PTSD, that led to hospitalisation and ongoing outpatient treatment. The help I received was crucial to my recovery and was made possible by the increased awareness of suicide risks in our community. I have experienced firsthand the profound impact that suicide and suicide attempts can have on individuals, loved ones, and the broader community. By fundraising for Suicide Prevention Australia, I hope to contribute to this crucial cause and make a positive difference.
