Workplace Giving is a simple way to donate to charities direct from your pay, and get your donations matched. Most companies match donations, so you could double your impact, giving your charity even more support!
This year we hope to make a difference by participating in Bridge to Brisbane and running together to raise funds for our not-for-profit Himawari Japanese Language & Culture School.
You can support our efforts and help us reach our fundraising goal by making a secure online donation. After donating you can even leave a message of support on our page – it would be great to read these.
The donation will be used to purchase learning materials including textbooks and crafts for our playgroup and school.
Together we can make a big impact on race day!
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice - Himawari Japanese Language & Culture School.
Himawari Japanese Language & Culture School is a not-for-profit charity association registered in Queensland and has been serving for the Gold Coast community since April 2019. The school runs every Saturday offering a range of classes from playgroup to academic classes for 4 years and above, to cater for different age groups and in accordance with one's language proficiency levels, allowing students to learn freely towards their goals and at their desired learning pace. The school also offers a dedicated weekly Art & Culture class allowing students to experience a variety of Japanese cultures and traditions. The school advocates 'inclusion' in the community and welcomes anyone and everyone of all ethnicities and backgrounds. Those who are already learning Japanese and those with no experience are all invited to learn at Himawari. The school encourages and supports its community members in shared value of acceptance, respect, love, care and discipline.
