Story
This year, I’m running the 10km Bridge to Brisbane in honour of my amazing Nan, who we lost to cancer. She was one of the biggest influences in my life and I miss her every day.
I’m taking on this challenge not just for her, but for everyone whose lives have been touched by cancer. Every step I take will be for the fighters, the survivors, and those we've sadly lost.
Let me be clear that I am by no means a runner or fit! But I’m giving it a red hot crack, because this cause is close to my heart and worth every sore muscle and puffed breath.
I’m proud to be raising funds for the Cancer Council, an organisation that provides vital support, funds lifesaving research, and works towards a future where cancer no longer takes the ones we love too soon.
