Story
Imagine.
“You have cancer”. Imagine a world where you are told those words. Unfortunately, many Australians don’t have to imagine.
Now imagine a world where the treatment you are receiving is just not enough. Your body can’t fight off the aggressive cancer.
This happens too often.
In May of 2022, I lost my best friend to an aggressive blood cancer. “B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia”. When she told me of her diagnosis, I was scared. But I truly thought she’d make it to the other side. At the age of only 21, we lost her.
Each year since her passing I have been running B2B to raise funds for the amazing work happening at “Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group” (ALLG) and to promote awareness on blood cancers such as hers.
We need to fight to end this pattern.
ALLG is Australia and New Zealand’s only not-for-profit blood cancer clinical trial research group. They aim to improve the treatment of blood cancers through research and clinical trials, with the ultimate goal to provide better treatment and improve quality of life for patients.
Again this year I am raising funds for ALLG, and I am hoping to have your support. Every dollar counts!
Alternatively, you can share my fundraiser, or even educate yourself! There are endless types of cancer that are worth understanding and fighting against.

Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group (ALLG)
The ALLG is the only not-for-profit collaborative clinical research group in Australia and New Zealand dedicated to finding new ways to treat blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood disorders.
By conducting national and international collaborative clinical trials at sites across Australia and New Zealand, ALLG researchers are helping patients access new drugs or receive new treatments that are not yet available for clinical practice.
