Story
This year the whole Add Staff team are hoping to make a difference by participating in Bridge to Brisbane and running for Mates in Construction, a cause close to our hearts who are doing some amazing work.
Our team will be running in both the 5km and 10km races, then enjoying a BBQ breakfast afterwards. Whilst we would love it if you could join us on race day, we also welcome donations, those made through this platform are secure and go directly towards Mates in Construction.
After donating, please leave the team a message of support, we would love to read these whilst getting our KMs up for race day!
Thank you so much for your support!
About Mates in Construction
MATES is a charity established in 2008 to reduce the high level of suicide among Australian construction workers.
MATES provides suicide prevention through community development programs on sites, and by supporting workers in need through case management and a 24/7 help line. They serve the construction industry in Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia, the Energy industry in Queensland and New South Wales, and nationally to the Mining industry.
Thank you so much for your support!
MATES in Construction (AUST) Ltd
Every dollar counts toward helping MATES do the job of suicide prevention in our industry!
MATES in Construction is a for the industry, by the industry, not for profit that exists to strengthen the construction, mining and energy industries by preventing suicide; because a life saved is one less family grieving, one less site devastated and one less community heartbroken.
MATES is an evidence-based program that reduces stigma and promotes mentally healthier workplaces through training and support. MATES Field Officers deliver training to sites and keep in contact if anyone is in need, while MATES Support is available 24/7 to workers and their families who may be doing it tough.
