Story
I have been part of Mapleton Adventure team for the last 12 years and this September will be serving on my 13th camp. Students from grades 5, 6 and 7 come on the 5-day camp and go home full of stories of fun and adventure. They overcome fear on the Giant swing, learn teamwork in the canoe, take aim in archery, and climb to the highest heights. Students realise that they can overcome many challenges with the right attitude, respect and kindness rather than anger and revenge. They learn that there is a God who loves them no matter what. That they are valued and precious.
Thanks to our incredible sponsors, many students have experienced this life-giving adventure. Your generosity has helped break down financial barriers and open the door to something truly special.
This year, we want to send even more students—but we need your help. This year I am walking the Bridge to Brisbane to fundraise for kids who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend. Will you help?

Spring Mapleton Adventure Camp (SU Australia Camps)
SU Australia school Chaplains, or 'Chappies', support the holistic wellbeing of our school communities across Australia. Chaplains provide a listening ear and a caring presence for children and young people in crisis. They also provide support for staff and parents in school communities. Support is provided through one-on-one support, running small groups and other community activities. School Chaplains make a difference, and are loved by their communities.
