Story
Hey everyone
This year we are taking part in the Bridge to Brisbane to raise funds in honour of Tora, Sylvana and Emma, who courageously fought or are fighting ovarian cancer. We are running for them, and for all those impacted by this devastating disease, supporting a cause that’s incredibly close to our heart.
Unfortunately due to lack of research and underfunding, ovarian cancer statistics have not improved in 30 - 50 years. It remains that 70% of women are diagnosed at a late stage due to vague symptoms and lack of any early detection methods.
You can help make a difference by making a secure online donation to support the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. Every dollar raised goes directly to life-saving research – and every donation counts.

Established in 2000, The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) is Australia’s leading independent funder of ovarian cancer research, dedicated to transforming outcomes for the most lethal gynaecological cancer.
In Australia, fewer than 50 percent of women and girls diagnosed with ovarian cancer will survive more than five years - a figure unchanged for decades, highlighting disparities and gender inequities in research and care that demand urgent action.
