We’re excited to get back to the Gateway Bridge to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Sunday Mail Transurban Bridge to Brisbane and are looking forward to supporting our long-term charity partner Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland (RMH) by raising much needed funds.

We’ve been a major supporter of RMH for the past eight years, raising more than $1.27 million through our annual Charity Day thanks to the ongoing support of our business partners and stakeholders. Last year looked a little different due to COVID-19, with an online fundraising appeal raising $250,000 to fund RMH’s in-hospital emergency accommodation for 12 months, for families with seriously ill children in intensive care. This year, we’re excited to be shaking things up again with the launch of our inaugural Transurban Fundraising Appeal to support RMH.

We’re aiming to fund RMH’s in-hospital emergency accommodation within the Queensland Children’s Hospital for another 12 months.

Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland Ltd
Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland (RMHC SEQ) provides accommodation and support services for families with seriously ill or injured children, who require treatment at specialist facilities in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness or suffers a serious injury, it can have a devastating impact on them and their family. As well as the uncertainty and fear, there's added stress for those who live far away from the medical care their child needs.
RMHC SEQ has been supporting seriously ill and injured children and their families for more 30 years. However, without financial support from the community, it would not be possible to keep our doors open to families in need 365 days a year.
Thanks to supporters like you, we can continue to help keep families together and close to the care their child needs.
