Sprint in Solidarity: Palestine
Story
Hey everyone!
This year we are making a difference by participating in Bridge to Brisbane and running for a cause that is close to our hearts and who are doing some amazing work.
Taqwa, our chosen charity, works in partnership with Islamic Relief Australia, the Palestinian community and the wider Muslim communities, in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, who are working together to financially help and support the Palestinian families who are coming from Gaza to Brisbane and QLD.
The assistance provided includes support that helps families and individuals from Gaza settle in Brisbane. This includes helping covering daily life expenses, such as paying rent, buying furniture, home appliances, clothing and anything else families need to start their new life in a safe place.
You can support our efforts and help us reach fundraising goals by making a secure online donation. After donating you can even leave a message of support on my page – it would be great to read these.
Together we can make a big impact on race day! Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.
